BEN WALLACE CONSIDERING LAW SCHOOL

Ben Wallace¬† has been in the league since 1996 when he joined the Washington Bullets. Now the 36-year-old has just finished his second stint with the Detroit Pistons and it won’t be clear if he’s going back to Motor City till the league and its players agree on a new collective-bargaining agreement.

For now, Wallace is at his home in Virginia researching law schools, the Detroit News reports. “The thought has been brewing for years, and he even spoke to former Pistons coach John Kuester about it three years ago,” when Wallace was on the Cleveland Cavaliers, the News reports.

“It would not surprise me at all to see him practicing law,” teammate Tayshaun Prince(notes) said, the News reports. “Not at all.”* -Yahoo Sports
