ZOOLANDER 2

Zoolander is one of the most stupidly funny movies ever and is one of my favs for sure. It’s been so long I didn’t think that they’d be making a sequel but it’s just been announced that the Zoolander 2 script has roles for Ferrell and Jonah Hill. This is exciting news but we’ll have to wait till 2012 to watch Mr. Blue Steel on the big screen once again!

This looks like it’s going to be a good documentary about the American sign painter. In their travels, they have documented SEAN BARTON, Ira Coyne, and Japhy Witte. They are close friends that are going to be featured along with many others in the movie. Follow THE SIGN PAINTER MOVIE blog to keep up on their travels and and adventures as they travel the country documenting this great form of art. Here’s a couple from their recent travels.

MONDAY MOVIE REVIEW: SHREK FOREVER AFTER

This weekend I took my daughter to go see the new Shrek movie. This suppost to be the final of the franchise, and thank god for that. It seems like they just made this to cash in on one last paycheck the movie it self had little to no substance and to top it off its only in 3d which to me ruins the movie going experience cuz the glasses are like shades and when a dark part of the movie comes on its sometimes hard to determine whats going on and you have to pay more per ticket. I would strongly recomend waiting until this comes out on dvd cause the wack 3d and the added cost isnt worth it for a sub-par movie.

MONDAY MOVIE PICK OF THE WEEK x INGLORIOUS BASTARDS

Tarrintino’s latest effort has him remaking a 70′s B-Movie of the same title. Although the story line was quite a strech for a normal A Band Apart movie Tarrintions exceptional “draw you in” dialog is most certianly there. I can’t really compare this to any of his other movies and my only complaint was Brad Pitts character did not get enough screen time.

X MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE WILL HAVE MULTIPLE HIDDEN ENDINGS

I’ve been advised by my legal counsel to not admit to seeing this movie due to it’s current F.B.I. investigation, but I will say if you have or havent go see it this weekend!

CLOUT MOVIE REVIEW #22 – STREET KINGS

I’m going to admit to judging a book by it’s cover on this one. I know that Keanu Reeves isn’t the best actor and usually movies with rappers are kind of a joke but MORE

WE OWN THE NIGHT

We Own The Night was my favorite dramatic movie of 2007. Most people will probably lean more towards American Gangster especially when it comes to award time but “We Own The Night” was so much more of a better movie. We Own The Night has a great story line with an immaculate cast including Juaquin Pheonix and Mark Walburg. Juaquin Pheonix (Bobby Green) and Mark Walburg (Police Captain Joseph Grusinsk) play parts as polar opposite brothers living on different sides of the law until they must come together when their family is put in jeopardy. Robert Duvall (Deputy Chief Bert Grusinsky) plays the father of the two. We Own The Night was brilliantly filmed and is a great movie and is definitely a must see.By J. ANAYA.
